This group is designed to help our young stars with the correct fundamentals, form, and footwork training. Minimum two days per week attendance. Designed for students who are new to their school’s badminton team or who have previously attended clinics or training sessions for beginners and/or adult players who want to impress on the social court or have learned the sport via games played occasionally for fitness or small group competitions ( e.g. friendly matches).
General physical conditioning – endurance, resistance training, flexibility, speed, power(on-court training)
Application of basic footwork and strokes – intensively focused on the application of skills
Introduction of full-court game playing singles and doubles
Improve basic footwork and short quality – serve, high clear, drop shots, net, lift smash, drive
Introduction of fun games in badminton
